Went out today with my brother for another mulloway attempt - one run (and another suspect hit) but no hook ups. We did manage a 29cm pinky and a surprise (very chunky) 35cm trevally as by catch, though.
This is the biggest one we've caught this close to the CBD, so pretty happy with this result.-

Well done on the Trevally I've learnt to go easy on them I used to strike a bit too hard but ive learnt the error of my ways :thumbsup:

Pretty keen to hit up that side of town, never fished the mighty yarra that far down. Only fresh

I wonder how one that size would go as a live bait.

Surely 8 months later he must have by now .............. With the Trevalley i assume he would have used bait.
