I was down on the nong this weekend as well!
This time i snuck the Hobie in and decided to fish it as best as I could.
Spent the best part of 4 hours on Sunday fishing structure,

Managed about 20 fish on plastics.
They were all from small to a little above average, but not complaining about 20 fish on a Sunday morning , 15 min from home :super:
Was back home for a Pork Chop by 2 pm, lazy 9 am start.
First time swimming the newly acquired yak and super happy with it .

First Fish out of Hobie Outback, small but close to the heart
I started dropping them back in without the photo-op after a while

Took some time to work out where the slightly bigger models were, next time going to hit up this joint first.

All fish released. :)

Its 12 Feet long .

Takes some getting used to loading/unloading on the car.

Cant wait to fish an estuary system, want to get fully used to it and find some more experienced people to go snapper fishing with.

Prophecy came true,
I headed up the system on an exploratory trip today and was rewarded with this chunk.

Most of the day was spent soft vibing the tide change for a Jewie, but then fished bream again for a bit.
