I have been driving past the warmies during the week and noticed heaps of people fishing. Pumps were on and plenty of salmon where being caught on chopped up chicken and blue bait/pillies.

Thought I would have a fish today - Saturday but the pumps were not on.

Does anyone know a contact telephone number to find out if the pumps are on or not. I live 35k's away and can't see the chimeny stack from my place.

The pump could be running but may not be releasing hot water due to power generators are only on standby waiting for power demand from consumers. that's why it is only running on winter months due to high demand of power just wait until it continuously gets cold and the generators go on line .The hot or warm water should go far enough so the fish sense it and track it to the warmies.

Went down to the Warmies yesterday. Pump was not running and hardly anyone was there. Was very windy also. Not even a bite on squid or pilchard. My mates came down around 3:30pm and one mate caught a couple toadies on prawns. Still had a laugh but probably wont go down there again.

Today sucked. No one there, only people launching/retrieving from the ramp. Not even a nibble/bite/fart. Don't know where to go tomorrow
