Gave up fishing at the warmies for over a year now. most of the breams & pinkies were under legal size. I blamed it on the chanel deepening.

they say that when the power station is running , the warm water generated turns the fish on to the bite !!
have you had any luck when the pump is operating ?? :siren:

I remember fishing when the pump is one, a long time ago. It was insane! Haven't fished warmies after the channel deepening though, so I don't know what it's like now.

Around July/August when the power station pumps out warm water, the mullets will come in and that will bring in the tailors. When the tailors are in, the warmies will be full with people.

I took this photo last year around the same time of year (July / August).

Just shows you how busy it can get down at the Warmies when the Tailor are on :whoh:

There would have easily been over 400 fishos :fishing:

Anyone been down there yet this year?

I think I'm somewhere in that picture. For some reason, there are no tailors yet & its July.
Don't know if the power station still pumping out hot water or when.
But I'm ready.

went there today until 6PM to spin for tailor. It was freezing cold. First time this year. No hits. The power station was not running.

There were only about 10 of us there. No fish except for the occasional toadies and small mullets. Spoke to a couple of guys and they told me the tailor dont show up even when the station is running.
