Went bream fishing last night.

Post by 5ubzero » Wed Apr 24, 2013 2:30 pm

Arrived about 11pm, fished to 3.30am. first 3 hours a few bites but nothing on yabbies.

Decide to chop the claws of the yabbies, then used all my yabbies in 20mins. Were getting hit before i even got to the bottom, I few big ones but alot got me snagged.
Prawns were also good as usual.

Weird how they started to eat my yabbies when i took the claws off?hmm

Yeah, Docklands bream can be real bitches sometimes........they get scared of the yabbies etc. Moral of your story is try using prawns instead.....

The picker size Bream eat the Yabbies without the claws , your better to leave the claws on . This way you get less bites from pickers & when ones taken , its more likely to be a better Bream . ;)
