ive been bitten of while I was chasing mulloway but some of my live baits had chunks taken out of them just like a tailor would, in the yarra system.

two years back they were going nuts at warmies. I have caught them in geelong as well.

ive seen ONE caught in stockyard point few years ago.. so they do come in but are quite rare. they sure are fun to catch though..

Tailor are a great fighting fish and could not be mistaken with a snag.

I have seen a large school of large tailor at docklands, easy 60cm+
Wouldn't take anything I threw at em though.

I've caught Tailor at Lagoon Pier and the Warmies so they are around especially in winter.

absolutely tailor and some of them are quite large, live mullet that I use for mulloway have almost been bitten in half so I put on a wire trace and ganged hooks with a whole pilchard and cleaned up on good sized tailor; cheers
