yea those little ones always grab the bait first and the horses like to just look at your bait for a while and think before taking it

:) They were definitely on the chew this morning. Quite a few rolling along the edges of the pontoons ....

Got one on micro and had a serious bump from a decent bream which didn't pin .... Saw it take off in a big flash of silver ... Glassy conditions so you could see and hear them easily

Inspired by mr sloth's claims that horses won't eat bread, i decided to use a bit of dough just to prove him wrong. Had a #4 hook weightless with some dough and dropped it by a pylon. Did try some micro vibes first just to prove my theory that they like bread more, no takers. Then switching to dough, sure enough, first cast and a few mins in, im onto a horse.

Gave a pretty good fight, so good that i lost control and it dived into a pylon and busted me off...I did get it to the surface and had a good look. Guessing he was around the 35cm mark but it felt bigger.

Only ever lost 2 fish to pylon dives at the docks, one is this bream and the other was a jewie so i reckon this one was pushing close to my pb.

Then again im probably exaggerating because all fish that get away are bigger.

Just the ome bite for the day. Saw some guy catch a tiny bream on bait. And no mullet. Donut streak = 1

Same. I'm closest to dock 9 and Central. I got a donut there at lunch but talked to a couple who'd picked up 15 at north wharf. I saw plenty as usual - just couldn't catch them.

I like the sedona bang for buck. Got a couple of 2500s and just picked up a 1000 and spooled it with 2lb fluoro for those extra spooky bream - not helped so far :/

Not hallucinating ;)

What can I say ? I'm in an experimental phase. Certainly not mainstream tea-bagging :)
