Hi Guys,

Took the kids out from Altona on Saturday, caught heaps of undersize pinkies and flathead, ended up with a good feed of flathead.

Fish and chips were fantastic, but also made my new favorite, curry fish pies.

Worst thing is cleaning them but its a labour of love my favorite fish to eat

Hello Shane9815,

i am new to the forum, first off Great Catch!!!! i am a local to the Altona area (*10 minutes away), where about are these lizards biting? i have only every tried the pier and the rocks off the local yacht club.

Agreed some look very small….. not sure if its just me but i don't bother keeping them unless they are over 35 because ppb flatty seem soooo skinny

A few of them look under sized, 27 cm minimum they should be.Apart from that good catch mate,ill just turn a blind eye.
