Willy snapper report 17/10/17
After a few snapperless trips lately it was great to finally get some fish in the boat. Hitting up the Newport ramp in the afternoon the water temp at 16.2 degrees. After sounding around Williamstown for a while a few marks began to show in 9m so the anchor was set, after a short while the first rod went, followed by another followed by another.
All up we had reached our bag in just under a hour and left them biting. Fish went between 3.5 and 6.5kg, all were caught on silver whiting or Scad.
With the hotter weather to continue the fishing can only get better from here.

Great effort!! was out on Sunday with the water temp 14.6 degrees, no action at all to report. Interesting to see the water temp rise that much with just a couple days of warmer weather.
