Heaps of Flatties around Williamstown

Post by LINwAd » Fri Jun 01, 2018 5:30 am

Hey All,

There is heaps of flatties around the williamstown area at the moment, catching good numbers during the day and night with soft plastics.

I got hungry the other day and instead of going to the shop, I chucked my rod in the car and went and caught a cracking flathead and cooked it up into a killer fish burger! Great having fresh fish, I don't normally keep the fish I catch, but it was great to catch and cook my own fish.

As always , Made a video out of it , enjoy.

Thats a good flatty mate. What is the name of the soft plastic you use for reference. I am a bait and lure fisho but might try the plastic some time especially for Flathead.

It's the 2.5 inch MSP Grub mate ( https://www.munroessoftplastics.com.au/ ... s/2-5-grub ) :a_goodjob:

Plastics (in my opinion) outfish any other meathod for flathead, so if you are targeting them specifically, get one on your line ;)

Another top video mate as always; looks like you had a good feed as well.

You were lucky not to get a hook embedded into your knee.
