Warmies and the power station?

Whilst driving home from Point Lonsadale on Saturday night (or actually Sunday morning) when coming over the Westgate I noticed the Warmies power station was going cause I could see steam coming from its smoke stacks. I was dog tired so I couldn't stop and have a go at the Warmies when it is ejecting its warm water.... but I am curious....

Does anyone know if the fish really do go on the bite when the power station is working and ejecting its water? Is the water steaming or what? Or am I over estimating how warm the water is coming out?

Damn I wish I turned around and had a go.

The fish do come on the bite when its on however I have been there along with 50 other anglers while it was on and didn't see anything get caught. Its a real hit and miss.

Does anyone know what the go is with it on or off. I thought they had turned it off for good but I have seen the tell tale signs that its on every now and again.

When the warmies is running it can provide some kick ass fishing.

A Google search can show heaps of stuff!

Goodluck :water:
