Yep. Works well in my Yak. Dragging plastics slowly across the bottom is my most successful technique as well.

This is good news...I'm more of a sit, drink & watch type of fisho. Any other species attracted to this technique with SP's or is it mainly flatties?

I have caught pinkies and salmons doing it this way but find it works best with the flatties.

If you arent catching flatties on plastics, they arent there.

Tried both plastics and rattling/vibe hardbodies on a hire boat off Mornington, left the rod on the holder. Just like bait fishing.
As the boat rocks, the lure goes up and down, and bang! flatty...
