Fun day on plastics at the Warmies

Post by Scozziefish71 » Sun Mar 24, 2019 2:45 pm

Hi Folks,

I had the best fishing day in ages earlier whilst fishing the Warmies.
Ten Bream, two lost and multiple missed takes and I know I would have caught more if I had stayed longer.
There are huge Mullet jumping and swimming around everywhere.
A fun day and good to get success fishing the Zman grubs.

Ten breams with soft plastic in warmies is super impressive.

Yes it was Bream mate, 3 pretty decent ones around 30- 32 cm mark and smaller 15-25 cm, still fun though.
I managed to add a photo of the best one above, couldn't do it before but managed to drag it into the message, was trying to attach the file before and kept saying file too large.

Wow nice! When i fished there i always caught pinkies, no breams. Because the pinkies are crazy and hungry, hit the plastic first before the breams.
Did you fish the outlet part of warmies or the mouth of yarra?

I fished the extending rock wall at the end of the main channel, there are pinkies towards the channel side and seems to be Bream mostly on the warmies channel side.
Went back last night lost three, caught two and had various hits which I missed because of the wind which was a pain in the ass.

Oh so the yarra. Nice. I might try there next week.
