Is there squid and snapper at altona pier?

During this time of the month. Season too. Also have any caught fish at Altona pier.

No squid ..salmon,gars n occasional snapper...
Need weed beds for squid

Didnt they put an artificial reef near the Altona Pier a few years back?

im not sure but if they id there might be some leather jackets so take pipi and try on the reef.

Haven’t fished there for awhile but used to catch gars, salmons and pinkies.
