Werribee was a mess last year.
So might hit Clifton early.

Clifton been pretty tough snapper wise most boats fishing around the turn get away from the boats have a sound around areas where there no traffic eg spoil grounds, channel towards Portarlington etc and u should have a good chance

Fair enough bud, however I've always found that I catch more if I target something specific. Eg. It's no good targetting snapper or flathead, and expecting to come back with a bag of whiting (unless your name is Denis Barden ). As long as you have fun doing it, I guess that's the most important part.

Yeh, I reckon you might be right about Werribee. Maybe even St Leonards?

I'd strongly recommend catching a squid or 2 as soon as you get on the water, and invest them into your day. Squid seems to be a standout bait at the moment.

Fresh baits seem to be the best atm although the charters seem to do well on frozen stuff
