Williamstown - Fruitless day

Post by vinhii » Mon Jun 27, 2011 7:38 pm

Williamstown fishing/diving

So me and a mate decided to go fishing on the saturday that just past, At first we headed to Frankston to check it out, but it was windy and murky water so we headed back to Williamstown..

After afew tiny bites and snags from the rod, Me and my mate decided to jump in and go for a dive... ( bad idea LOL! )

For that 1hr and 30mins we were swimming around i saw some type of fish that looked bit yellow with zebra like stripes on them but too small to shoot and i couldnt ID it, also saw heaps of puffer fish lol.

I noticed a group of pinkies hovering around as i advanced further out...

So for those who are keen , have a try off the rocks from the right hand side of Williamstown beach throw a line down and maybe youll lure them in.

Goodluck!! Cheers Vinhii :reel:

It was a shame you drove all the way down to frankston and couldn't even go for a fish because of the wind
