St kilda fishing report 28/01/15
Hey guys, thought I'd share some information since I finally figured out how to, went fishing last night in one of my favourite spots along st kilda, not gonna say where exactly
Water was low tide, but with the chop it didn't really seem that way, caught 9 pinkies/snapper ranging between 31cm to 42cm, only caught four undersized ones which went back to fight another day, and I also lost 2 good ones due to the reef, all in all was a good night for fishing, and I barely had time for a smoke, action was full on, found pilchards to be the most effective bait on a patternoster setup with 2/0 hooks, and a size 2 snapper sinker

Great catch, good work mate  cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad
