I tried with a plastic again but didn't get any. My friend said that a metal lure is better for salmons.

It never hurts to have a couple of metal slugs in the tackle box.

Well then maybe you should listen to your friend and give them a go. All I can say is I have been having a lot of success with plastics lately. I never said metal lures don't work. In the past I have caught plenty with metals.

I think I will try it. I also had trouble trying cast plastic far. I couldn't cast it much. Maybe I am doing something wrong.
