I used to fish that pier years ago. Caught plenty of fish but hated having to walk all the way to the top and also only being able to fish from the top end of the pier.

Yea no worries mate :) a friend of mine was catching them with chicken on princes and ended up with 17 and a trevally but I like catching them with SP's these days.

Cracking effort mate well done. Salmon on SP is the best fun. I honestly rate it better, especially on light gear, than snapper in terms of sheer enjoyment.

Thanks mate! I totally agree. I never get tired of catching them on light gear with plastics :) addictive stuff lol

The only other thing I use is some fluorocarbon leader. Usually about 50 cm and I smear that S factor stuff on the plastic as well. That's about it mate :)

Well done LX that would've been a lot of fun on light gear :cheers: haven't fished that small hook pier for ages :)
