Also I plan to go around sunset/evening high tide.

Thanks for the advice all. Got a bag of donuts, and seemed like not many were catching around princes and webb dock yesterday.

I’ve fished from that pier many times but never seen anyone fishing for squid!
Great pier for many other species though like snapper/salmons/flatties/gummies…😃
