Been having a fair bit of success at stkilda pier lately hence my frequent posting :P managed about 10 pinkies this morning, all released, though for once none of them were undersized , a few were 40cm+ which I guess makes them snapper, great fun on 6lb line. Got them on Zman 3inch slim swimz and minnowz worked quite aggressivley. Good to see their still around despite winter setting in.

That’s a great session for landbased mate. Especially at this time of the year. Also with plastics. I remember a few years ago my mate and I both bagged out with pinkies in late May landbased not far up the road from St Kilda pier. Your reports are making me want to go! Nice work once again

Awesome Sammy  , , , , gotta love land-based Snapper. And nice to hear none were undersized too.

I can see you caught 2 males and one female

If you want an easy way to work out which is which, it's easy

EYE MAKEUP makes this one a Female ;-)

Or a Mardi Gras Snapper :-D
