after work today went down to webb dock at the bend with a mate and got bites from 5 30 till 11 when we pulled the pin. 1st keeper fish landed was a nice 38 cm flathead , 2nd a 36 cm pinkie , 3rd and final a 46 cm pinkie, shorts all night. had a few netting's go wrong and loose some fish right at the rock's but still all in all good night for a few beers n fish. best bait was blue bait tonight cut in halve pana rig 2/0 circle hooks and a glow bead in green.

also when the squid was in use it would come back glowing a blue anyone know why that would happen

That happened to me too once, when i brang in my line there was green slime all over the bait, this was in portland though, dont know why but...

Chromatophores probably still present in the squids cells/flesh.

could be the tiny organisms that light up when disturbed. Cant remember the name...google may be able to help
