Seaford pier(where are the fish)
Hey guys I was down at seaford pier the other day from 5:40am to 12:00pm and all I caugh was a toad fish. Twice I have been there within the last 2months with no results does anyone have any idea what's going on down there? Or is it just me?

I will have to repeat exactly what is said by raco09. You wouldn't get any other species rather than gars and odd small sambos there.raco09 wrote:Too shallow perhaps even on a high tide? Good for gars though....when they are around.

Hi Mate travel another 20 minutes and hit Mornington Pier you have a great variety of fish to catch from that Pier. I will always tell people to learn how to use a squid jig and you will always have fresh bait. Salmon is on the bite at the moment and Gar fish also. The Seaford Pier is only good for diving off you can catch gar and other species almost on every pier after frankston.
