How's frankston fishing?

Hey guys I was wondering how frankston pier is fishing ATM are the gars still biting well? mainly because I have a couple of mates that don't go fishing much and the last two outing we have had no luck. Any help would be appreciated thanks.

They were getting some big gars down at mornington pier last week, along with a few small salmon. Maybe worth that little extra distance travelled to reward yourselves with a few fish

I was at frankston pier last nite got there at about 8.30 just as the sun was going down.
10-12 ppl on the end of the pier pulling out salmon 1 after the other.
i got 4 in 15 mins but then the rains came in hard (and sideways) so i went home.

Hey Julz what bait were you using I was going to head down there with some silver bait and some squid for the gars any recommendations for the salmon?

Not sure, with this wind, it is likely that they might be hanging around.

wow, this evening for salmon. windy!. Looks like salmon is back. Time to bring out the light spin gear soon.
