like alot of inlet/outlet rivers/creek areas running into sea, you usualy get alot of mullet and bream in areas like this. That area you mention starts from the creek at frankston, and is full of mullet around there. It's part of the creek that runs along eel race road and into the back of seaford, although once it hits seaford it becomes pretty brackish fresh water , alot of carp and eels !. Not a bad fishing area actualy , although i wouldn't eat anything out of there personaly.

I used to work along Eel Race Drain 20 odd years ago, spraying blackberries, Gorse, the carp in there were huge, no joke, these were close to the metre mark, further inland the water was boiling with them, cheers davo
