Patto River mouth

Post by Freakazoid » Fri May 17, 2013 6:34 pm

Freezing cold arvo but the other half and i thought we'd throw a line in anyway.
Started near the Napean hwy bridge using Woolies prawns and had no luck and a few snags Bangg
Decided to move right up to the rocks on the river mouth and ended up with a 35cm Bream right on sunset :fish5: the wind got a bit much and I couldn't feel my limbs anymore so left it at that

sounds like you were colder than the bream :cold: cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

With this rain I would be thinking twice before eating that bream.
Too much rain around that area you get all the run off from the roads and houses to pollute the fish and water with but the **** farm also overflows into patto. Ive seen some horrid things in the water there. And smells. lol
Not good at all.
If you have already eaten it I hope you don't see this. lol
