Wht fish is this?

Hi everyone, first time posting and new to this forum. I caught this fish at patterson lakes last month and never found out what fish it is, can someone please tell me what fish it is.

Color and dorsal spines looks like soldier but the head and the pectoral fin looks like bream.

You are correct. Soldier. Brett also mentioned Soldier. Heaps of names southern cobbler, fortescue, etc

Bull rout are very similiar but are bit fatter and usually lighter blotches, less pointy face but mainly freshwater.
