Bushrangers

Post by DougieK » Sun Oct 19, 2014 2:25 pm

Hit up Bushrangers yesterday with ladyk

Had some fresh squid and fresh mullet baits out but didn't get anything other than wrasse, gurnard and toadies. Very difficult place to fish the bottom.

Tried to balloon out a squid head on a large circle but couldn't make it work. Despite wind being from the north it swirls alot around the cliffs and the wave action made it impossible to get the balloon out.

One good salmon I dropped at the rocks took a 6 inch curltail grub on a 28g jighead. Other than that no real action all day.

Me either. I tied a baloon onto a a swivel via clip. 2 metres of 60lb leader, a small ball sinker and a 6/0 circle with a squid head. I guess that's about right.
