It happens every now and then. Probably more common 60 years ago. Heard many a story of sbt caught by guys after kings. I wouldn't go specifically out there trolling skirts and stuff around though as reallly it's not worth it (unless you got lucky like Cam)
Cams a top guy, if any 'famous' local deserved it he certainly did. Goes out a lot and gets the results

There's video on facebook not sure if they cot the fish in it later, the one I saw was cam solo, before dan got out there to help

See where is says "rock platform dangerous at times" on the non swell side there?
G man and I fished that spot a couple of weeks ago and very nearly got cleaned up.
If you got to Schanck please make sure conditions are good and you're wearing boots, unlike the guy in rolled up jeans and thongs next to us 3 minutes before.
