Bushrangers bay salmon mayhem on rocks

Post by liam_87 » Sun Sep 15, 2013 3:16 pm

went down too bushrangers bay early this morning,

started throwing some metal slices into the surf didnt have any luck.
luckily the swell was right down today so the rocks today were fishable at and tide.

switched over too a weedless rigged z-man swimmerZ 5in"
within around maybe 5-10 mins after throwing some bread in just too stir something up, salmon were smashing the surface of the bait fish we had brought in close from the bread.
nothing massive in the schools, but super fun on the light gear we were using, and thats all that matters!

me and the old man caught about 40 each over around hour and a half.
safe to say what an awesome day too send me off to the navy!

well done mate, good luck with the navy, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
