Post by cdrolly » Wed Jan 02, 2013 3:22 am

Hi Guys,
Just wanted to know if anyone has been to Stony recently and if the Pier has full access? last time I went part of it was blocked off.

Cheers...

The majority of the pier is fenced off and probably will be for ever since now the customs boat ties up there.

you still have about 15m or so facing the bay but majority of it is fenced off.

Stony Point Pier Access?

Yes there is some access but if there's a few people there it can be a pain. Especially if the tide is really pulling and people who haven't really fished it using small sinkers can end in a heap of tangles. I have had some good nights there when not to many people around though
