yes, always a chance this time of year. Ask the guys you are hiring from, they should have a bit of local knowledge.

sounds good, any tips? rigs, water depths? read a little about them just seem like an interesting fish...

Never knew the place existed till now. Can u launch your own tub from there?
To fish or not to fish...NOT TO FISH ??Yea...like that's even an option !

Im not too sure, last time we went caught decent sized whiting and plenty of garfish, big ones too..

interesting... I'm off to Yaringa for a family lunch @2pm... maybe I should pack the rods...

any land based options around the Yaringa harbour?

there were elephants being cayght of hastings jetty two weeks ago,they have moved on now.may have up further up the bay towards yaringa,reckon you'll get one.im taking bro in laws boat out tomorrow,launching at hastings to fish tyabb bank and surrounds

no luck, was actually pretty quiet, got a bit rough in the little hire boat.
few grass whiting, 3 KGW, tiny flatties,toadies,leatherjackets, huge stingray and typical banjo.
moved around a bit, they had no burley at the hire place...had no faith after that

Is burley a neccesity ?

If you think the hire place, could have or offer more, pls let me know and I will bring it to the owners attention. (within reason lol)

I saw a fair few people coming back from their Yaringa fishing adventures. Even 4 members of the Coast Guard...we were sitting outside at the little cafe.
