Good catch lightfingers. Wish I could take my missus fishing instead of taking her to radiation treatment daily. Are they all for the plate?

Thanks mate, fingers crossed. To make things worse I just got back from vet had to put our 12 year boxer down. Life can really suck at times.

Are squid as good for you as fish? Or better?

Yeah, thats great. Couple of weeks ago the Mrs and i was wading for flounder at night. We see some strange things too, one of them was a squid just hanging in the middle of a school of fish. The fish were about 4 inches long and the squid was gobbling them up as quick as anything. His tenticles were just grabbing them and straight down the hatch, meanwhile he had another 3 or 4 in his arms and he just kept slamming em down. Almost whiped out the whole school in a matter of minutes.

Cheers.....ThomasG

Depends on the kind of fish  but haven't had a feed of fresh calamari for awhile so looking forward to it
