Launched off Safety Beach this morning for a crack at some calas and whiting.
Well that was fun!. Low tide and 900mm swell at the ramp.
Headed around to The spot and didn't get a hit at all in 3, then 7 then 13mts. The wind was up and the waves were folding over. Fairly uncomfortable.
Headed out deeper for some fatties all undersized so came in at 4.00. In all, not as much luck as BM. But on the positive side, I didn't have to clean any. Ha.
Maybe Thursday will be more productive.
At least it wasn't raining!

I'm hearing (???) ya ponderosa.
I caught more than a few Altona way, but none big enough to put in the bucket!
Thought I had a decent fish on three occasions only to find I had a double hook up on a paternoster rig!
Good luck Thursday.

At least you got out mate, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

They were hungry but not quite big enough.
