Short report
Mornington Pier 4.30 - 8.30pm
Low tide ~ 6pm'ish , light SW
Spent an hour+ bait casting on the inside lower platform with zero results. Suspect plenty of critters on the bottom as the hooks came up bare quite often, but nary a bite could be felt. Even thr burley couldnt raise a decent bite.
After sundown moved over to the outside railing, 2 lines out, one on the bottom, one float set from the top at ~1.5mtrs. Only a single hookup of a 40cm Skate, which quickly went back whence it came, otherwise it was a very very quiet early evening.
I keep telling myself to wait till it warms up... but here I am thinking I might zip down to Apollo Bay n try for Salmon at Sun up.
Keep fishing folks,
Star.

Cute little banjo
Glad you put him back in, that way you can catch him next week & the week after & the week after that etc. G'day Bob, caught you again, geez your getting bigger.
Pains, but that's no reason to kill them.
Thanks for your report
