Balcombe Estuary
Hi!
Have you guys ever fished Balcombe Creek? If so, what fish can you catch there and what rigs did you use?
Cheers

Re: Balcombe Estuary
Bream and mullet - the usual techniques work for them there, including live baits and soft plastics. Unless of course you're anything like me ... then better stick to bait.

Re: Balcombe Estuary
The usual estuary species. If you're bait fishing unweighted is best or a tiny ball sinker for casting distance as there's very little flow. The fishing always has a pattern for any given water and weather condition.

Re: Balcombe Estuary
The beach out the front delivers on salmon everytime the mouth of the river first opens for about 12 hours. High tide is much better.

Re: Balcombe Estuary
This old and shitty picture says otherwise. Can count on 1 hand the total caught in the creek proper thoughpurple5ive wrote:No, not that i know of.wem21 wrote:So would there be flathead there then?cobby wrote:The usual estuary species.
