Which peninsula? The morning ton peninsula is producing gummies intermittent on the beaches, piers are good for toadies and the occasional baby squid, or sand whiting, not much else happening land based

was at some rocks along mt martha that was about a kilometer from civilisation yesterday morning, we caught 17 pinkes all 35cm+ using placcys and squid caught at the same location within the hour. Also caught around ten salmon that were having a bust up 50m from the shore.

Was at Mornington Pier last Saturday afternoon. Wind picked right up as I got there plenty of people saw them catching all small ones though.

I’d be going Sorrento, Flinders, Portsea for the big ones, Mornington never really produces big ones regularly I don’t think. The small ones are good for bait though, and when it’s a hot bite it’s fun to just relax sit back and catch a bag haha
