Morno this afternoon

Post by wem21 » Mon Apr 22, 2019 6:21 pm

Hi,
Headed out to morno with some friends, a guy caught a 3kg snapper casting towards the reef on squid on sunset, while the rest of us plebs (my friends and I) who didnt have 12ft rods caught a boatload of 15-20cm pinkies on prawn-it was a fish a cast. I didn't get a touch on plastics, using the zman 2.5" grubs, so I switched to bait. I managed to land a pinky that was a cm off >:(. Was a bit windy and cold. People were also landing lots of tiny squid the size of your palm.

Yeah, should've seen the scramble to get lines out of the water when it surfaced!
