Fished my local (SE Melbourne area) tonight and landed 7 squiddies in 15 minutes! It all happened 20 minutes before dark.
All a good size up to agout 750g...
Very happy they have finally arrived landbased in inner Melbourne! :super:

Went down for half an hour, got 8 little ones and one decent one. Arrived a bit late after sunset. Tried the Rays outdoors special and not a taker, put on the Shimano and they were tripping over each other to get to it.

Got about 6 in 6 casts.

Thinking of an early morning trip to the rocks, the weather has been crap lately so I need to get a line wet

Slow morning for me, ended the morning with 5 squid.

Tried 4 different jigs and just wasn't able to get them going smh

Though I did have one highlight down there

He went 885g Still cant manage to knock over that kilo markk yet, but I feel it coming soon :woohoo:
