Quick mornington pier report

Post by purple5ive » Sun Oct 01, 2017 8:59 pm

Hit up mornington pier for a few hours this evening chasing some squid.
Got 3 with this being the biggest and probably my pb. Didnt measure it so not sure how big it is. Caught on rui jig size 3.0 I'm not sure what the colour is called. But you can see it in the pic. All 3 came on the same jig. One a bit smaller and another one the std mornington size.

A total of 7 or so squid were caught when i was there from 4 to 7pm.

Thanks goes to the guy who helped me land the squid as it was too heavy to lift onto the pier. So someone turned up with a net and netted it for me. And also thanks to the guy who took the photo for me
