Had enough of those consistent wet and windy days.

Am only new to the area but two blokes at the ramp yesterday (Clifton Springs) were commenting or complaining about a netter. Apparently only one licence left and perhaps this has added to the squid being thinned out? Maybe you local guys can confirm but apparently he has less than a year to go on his licence.

People who donut always winge about netters....
Bugger all netters in bay.... more likely to do with time of day , depth ,technique n part of bay you r fishing ,then squid thinning out.
Been more squid then ya can poke a stick at in ppb this year.

Hour before dusk,just anchor burly like ya do for whiting n squid will come to you.

All good, never had any issues before with catching them, just one of those days. The better had been seen FYI also. But cheers

Id love to say that you are right about the netters in the bay Bowl, but unfortunately the one license down the southern end of the bay is getting a hell of a work out and will do so until it ceases in the future. From the outer harbour to down south is being absolutely raped so this will have an effect on fishing for a while

Yeah maybe, still thougt cause there is like 8or 9 licence still left in bay , compared the 40 or odd we use to have.... The effect will be less.
