With John unable to drive but still capable of using the little rods it was good that I could catch up with him and head off on a bait gathering session targeting some calamari squid.
Got down to the pier just on the turn of the tide and got into a few straight away , from then on it was just a steady progression as we took our respective bags limits.
Even with one arm in a sling john keeps fishing and smiling
New hat and plenty of sun protection and I'm a happy man :D
Really looking forward to hitting the beach with some of these baits in the near future
Bagged and on ice as soon as they are caught and they make excellent baits or tucker :D
Roll on the next session
