First time squid fishing

Hey guys last weekend (yes I know a bit late but anyway) I went squid fishing for the first time I went down to rye managed 4 there and then moved down to Sorrento and managed 3 squid 1 tommy rough and got given a squid.

Dinner mainly but used 1 squid for bait

How did you find it compared to catching other fish?

If you put the Tommy rough on a squid spike about a meter under a float, you may be able to tempt a big squid to take it.
