Walk to the end and as you walk down the left hand side steel walkway you will be in prime squid area. Anywhere along that left bottom landing is great but I have got them all along the pier especially where the light poles are. When I fish the end on the left I will have my jigs under a float ( any half decent jig with pink or white as a colour). Walking up and down fishing the light poles I will flick out with a slow retrieve.
PS if the seal is there then you may as well go home

Good luck

Didn’t get to go because of the weather but I’m defiantly going this Saturday! Also does it matter what tide it is?

I have never bothered checking the tide when squiding there. Just give it a go mate. Good luck
