On the "flaps" , , , , that is a kick back from my early teenage years (which unfortunately still comes out sometimes - just shows, say something often enough, it sticks), when us lads, the "Bicycle Brigade" would Huckleberry Fin our fishing adventures (out on the bikes in the morning loaded with our fishing gear and back at dinner time), would call the wings flaps , , , , adolescent exuberant mischief.

Cheers Buagtti

ps. I was going to edit and correct the mistakes , , , , but thought, leave it there for posterity , , , , to show how much of a sexual deviant I must be :-D

Just in case anyone hasn't seen cleaned squid , , , ,

These aren't cleaned squid, as Rhino suggests , , , , they are just skinned squid

If the heads of the squid were taken off BEFORE and only the hoods were put in the scaling bag - tumbler , , , , then they would be clean inside and out

PLUS

You'd have unaffected heads and tentacles, in pristine condition for bait.

Now I'm not saying Rhino is six cans short of a six-pack

I think he's just missing that plastic piece that holds all the cans together and stops them tumbling around :-D

Been meaning to buy one of these forever. I'm very fussy with squid and spend hours cleaning all the membrane off
