Just got back from the night and I would say that it was hugely worthwhile going.

Yep, very informative and certainly worth it.
If you get a chance book a spot.

A couple of things I didn't get on my shopping list :( as they were out of stock, but I'm happy to have gotten what I did along with some great tips and advice.

Thanks to Paul (ecofreak) and Lee for a top night.

Oh the pizza isn't bad either :Dribble:

There will be more squid seminar nights coming up, we try not to make em too big numbers wise because we like to be able to personally chat to every one after and also make sure people get the info they need in an intimate environment rather than in a mass setting with no opportunity to ask those stupid questions that we all seem to have from time to time. We are also doing some on water stuff through big time charters too so if any one is keen yell out and we can sort you out

Interesting to see squid are so popular lately :o , back in my early fishing days we used to catch squid for tucker & bait . not many anglers even cared for them much :| , a simple hand line & baited jig's under a float was the method then & now for many . These days its become somewhat of a science :geek: i still enjoy catching squid very much , only i havent gone into the technical side "Egi" fishing "i still use a handline" . i'd be interested to come to one of these squid nights to see just how technical ppl have made squid fishing :fishing: , i've follow the "KISS" principle when it come to squid fishing . maybe i can learn alot from the experts or so called experts , glad all enjoyed the night regardless . :)
