I gotta be completely honest and say I don't know what rod and reel it was !!
I was out with a couple of mates and one of the rods buckled over, my mate Rob said "its all yours big fella" !!…even though it was on his gear, he's a good bloke….He knew I hadn't bagged one before. He did tell me if I dropped it he would kick my a$& !!! haha
All I can say is I am pretty sure it was on 40lb line and a single snelled 6.0 circle hook. Had a running sinker above a 1m leader.
