Red mullet

Going out today be there around 12 fishing to 12 going for squid. Got told portsea is really good for red mullet on plastics at the end and want a back up spot for them just in case they aren't there... not asking for any secret spots just want to know what piers ar decent fir them what piers are decent for them. I have caught one randomly on bait at rye

No idea of spot, but I got them in worm soft plastics of werribee

I have seen decent size Red Mullet caught at the end of the pier with soft plastics.
