Nice one - I was in the area Sunday morning, sorrento pier actually. Was with a few mates and had about 30 minutes to kill before getting on a charter, threw some jigs out and picked up 7 good sized squid.

Had another go this morning. Once again the micro pinkies were smashing my deli prawns - hooking up every time as soon as the bait hit the water. When I caught a squid and started using it for bait.... nothing. The squid bait would sit there and sit there and sit there, with not even a little bite. Switch back to the prawns and immediately the pinkies went crazy for it again.

Maybe the pinkies like the squid crumbed and dipped in tartare sauce (my fav) lol
