Sorrento Pier 22/06/2019

Post by whambamsam » Sat Jun 22, 2019 8:33 pm

Continuing the donut trend - spent about 3-4 hours on the pier today lol. Fished from about 2PM-6PM with a break between because the tide/current was running hard.

At about 5PM a few squid were caught (by other luckier fishos), pretty small except for a great 35cm hood.

I'm just a few donuts shy of a coles 6 pack now haha.

Ah well at least you were out there giving it a go mate.
You have been fairly consistently fishing lately so your drought is gonna come to an end soon I think :)
Years ago I remember donuting like 10 sessions in a row and remember being so frustrated and sick of fishing but then my next session after that was one of my most memorable LB sessions! You just never know mate.
Don’t give up and I hope you have some more luck soon!!!
Cheers

I was round the corner in the kayak and was a bit of a slog for the squid yesterday. keep at it !
There is always more to learn , fish to catch , places to see and friends to make.
